Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will be on an official tour of Surguja and Surajpur districts on March 21. During the visit, he will inaugurate the divisional-level Surguja Olympics 2026 and the State-Level Oilseed Farmers Fair 2026 in Ambikapur. He will also inaugurate the Kudargarh Mahotsav 2026 in Surajpur district.

As per the scheduled program, the Chief Minister will depart from the Police Ground helipad in Raipur at 10:30 AM and arrive in Ambikapur at 11:50 AM. He will inaugurate the Surguja Olympics at 12 noon at PG College Ground, where the event will be organised from March 21 to 23. The Olympics will feature over 2,000 participants from across Surguja division competing in 12 sports disciplines, including kabaddi , kho kho , archery, football, volleyball, hockey, wrestling, athletics, badminton, and tug-of-war. Winners will be given direct entry into state sports academies and honored as youth icons.

Following this, at 1:40 PM, the Chief Minister will inaugurate the two-day Oilseed Farmers Fair 2026 at Rajmohini Devi College of Agriculture and Research Station in Ambikapur. The event is being jointly organized by the Agriculture Department and Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya under the National Mission on Edible Oil–Oilseeds. The fair aims to promote oilseed production and provide farmers with modern agricultural knowledge and opportunities.

Later, the Chief Minister will depart for Kudargarh village in Odgi block of Surajpur, where he will inaugurate the Kudargarh Mahotsav 2026 at 3 PM. On this occasion, he will dedicate and lay the foundation stone for 76 development projects worth ₹185.10 crore, including the inauguration of 52 projects and foundation laying of 24 new works. After the program , he will leave Kudargarh at 4:20 PM and return to Raipur by 5:35 PM.

Overall, the visit highlights the state government’s focus on promoting sports, agriculture, cultural heritage, and infrastructure development across the region.
