Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday listened to the 131st episode of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s popular radio programme Mann Ki Baat along with public representatives and other dignitaries at his residence office in Raipur.
Chief Minister Shri Sai said the programme has evolved into a meaningful platform that inspires citizens towards positive thinking, innovation and nation-building. He said Mann Ki Baat is not merely a radio broadcast but a forum that brings forward inspiring efforts and remarkable achievements from every corner of the country, strengthening the spirit of service, innovation and participation in society. He added that people eagerly await its broadcast every month.

Referring to the Prime Minister’s address, Chief Minister said Shri Narendra Modi highlighted India’s growing capabilities and future prospects in the field of artificial intelligence, sending a message of new direction for the country. He noted that India’s technological strength received global appreciation at the recently held Global AI Impact Summit in Delhi and the launch of three “Made in India” AI models reflects the nation’s innovation capacity. He said Chhattisgarh is also moving rapidly towards technological leadership through innovation, startup culture and strong digital infrastructure.
Chief Minister further added that Prime Minister also referred to achievements in the agriculture sector, noting that more than 500 varieties of paddy are cultivated in India and the country has become the world’s largest rice producer. He said this achievement reflects the tireless efforts of farmers, continuous research by scientists and forward-looking government policies, including contributions from Chhattisgarh, strengthening the resolve of a self-reliant India.

He further said the Prime Minister’s reference to the use of artificial intelligence by Amul in veterinary care and dairy management, as well as efforts to preserve and translate ancient texts such as ‘Sushrut Sanhita,’ demonstrates an effective integration of India’s knowledge tradition with modern technology. He added that this highlights the strength of both tradition and technology. Chief Minister Shri Sai said the Prime Minister’s reference to the parents of 10-month-old Aalin Sherin Abraham from Kerala, who chose to donate their child’s organs, stood out as an extraordinary example of humanity. He paid tribute to the parents, stating that their decision would give new life to many and inspire greater awareness about organ donation in society.

He said the Prime Minister also cautioned citizens about cyber crimes such as digital fraud and so-called “digital arrest”, urging awareness regarding KYC and banking security, which is highly relevant in the digital era. In addition, the Prime Minister mentioned achievements of players of Indian origin in the T-20 World Cup, installation of a statue of C. Rajagopalachari during the ‘Rajaji Utsav’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan, messages of confidence for students appearing in examinations, and conveyed greetings to citizens on the occasions of Ramzan and Holi while stressing the call for “Vocal for Local”.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai said every episode of Mann Ki Baat reflects the country’s progress towards self-reliance, technological empowerment and social awareness. He said the programme motivates citizens to participate actively in nation-building and provides national recognition to positive initiatives undertaken by people across the country.
