CMNayab Singh Saini has announced a major relief for the public and industries by approving a historic reduction in PNG pipeline lease rent. Addressing a press conference in Chandigarh, the Chief Minister stated that the lease rent for laying pipelines has been drastically reduced from ₹3 lakh per kilometer to just ₹1,000 per kilometer. This decision is expected to significantly strengthen gas infrastructure and accelerate the expansion of PNG connectivity across the state. The government has set a target of providing over 1.3 million connections, benefiting lakhs of households and industries.

The Chief Minister also clarified the situation regarding fuel supply in the state, assuring that there is no shortage of petrol, diesel, or LPG. Thousands of petrol pumps are operational, and fuel supply is being maintained smoothly on a daily basis. He urged citizens not to pay attention to rumors or misinformation.

Issuing strict instructions to the administration, CM Saini said that hoarding and black marketing will not be tolerated under any circumstances. Control rooms and helplines have been activated in every district to ensure the flow of accurate information to the public. Officials have also been directed to arrange additional supply whenever required, ensuring that citizens do not face any inconvenience.
