#MP FIRST . Ladli Behna Sammelan in Gwalior Today: ₹1,836 Crore to Be Transferred to Accounts of 1.25 Crore Women .

Another major step is being taken in Madhya Pradesh towards the economic empowerment of women. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will attend the Ladli Behna Sammelan being organized in Ghatigaon of Gwalior district on Friday.

During the event, the Chief Minister will transfer more than ₹1,836 crore directly into the bank accounts of over 1.25 crore beneficiaries under the Ladli Behna Yojana with a single click. The amount will be released as the 34th installment of the scheme.

In Gwalior district alone, around 3,02,850 women will receive nearly ₹44.83 crore directly into their bank accounts.

Apart from this, the Chief Minister will also inaugurate and lay foundation stones for 54 development projects worth approximately ₹122 crore in the district.

During the program, financial assistance will also be distributed to women under various self-employment schemes aimed at making them economically self-reliant.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia and Madhya Pradesh Assembly Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar, along with several other public representatives, will also be present at the event.

The Ladli Behna Yojana has emerged as one of the flagship schemes of the Madhya Pradesh government, aimed at strengthening women’s financial independence and enhancing their role in supporting their families. The event in Ghatigaon, Gwalior, is expected to bring another round of financial support to millions of women across the state.
