A significant and positive transformation is being witnessed in the education sector of Madhya Pradesh, as Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav continues to take concrete steps to secure a better future for children across the state.

During the State-Level Admission Festival 2026 Organised at the Model Higher Secondary School in Bhopal, the Chief Minister officially launched the statewide ‘School Chale Abhiyan’. This initiative is not just a program but a comprehensive mission aimed at ensuring that every child is connected to education.
Highlighting the government’s commitment, CM Dr. Yadav announced that 4 lakh bicycles will be distributed over the next 3–4 months, especially benefiting students from remote and rural areas. The initiative aims to eliminate distance as a barrier to education.

In addition, the government is providing free textbooks, financial support for uniforms, and other essential facilities to students. As a result, the state has managed to bring the dropout rate close to zero, marking a major achievement in the education sector.

Under the leadership of CM Dr. Mohan Yadav, the state has recorded rapid improvements in education. There has been a 19.6% increase in overall enrollment, while government schools have seen a remarkable 32.4% rise, indicating the effectiveness of these policies at the grassroots level.
As part of the National Education Policy 2020, the government has developed 49 new Hindi textbooks specifically for tribal regions. Additionally, schemes such as free laptops and scooters for meritorious students are being implemented to encourage academic excellence.

The Chief Minister emphasized that the government’s vision goes beyond basic education. The focus is on ensuring the holistic development of children, enabling them to become self-reliant and successful in the future.
