Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav addressed a public gathering in Bankura district of West Bengal, strongly backing Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates and urging people to vote in their favor.

During his address, he referred to Bankura as the land of great personalities like Subhas Chandra Bose, Swami Vivekananda, Rabindranath Tagore, and noted sculptor Ramkinkar Baij, calling the occasion a “beginning of a decisive political battle.”
Launching a sharp attack on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, Yadav alleged that people across the state are troubled under her leadership. He criticized policies related to alleged infiltration and claimed that the rights of local citizens are being compromised.

He further stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is witnessing rapid growth and global recognition. He emphasized that the BJP government is committed to the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas.” CM claimed that people from all sections—youth, women, farmers, and the underprivileged—are ready for change in West Bengal. He expressed confidence that the BJP will form the government in the state, citing strong public support.

Highlighting development initiatives, he said that millions have been lifted out of poverty, and schemes like housing for the poor, free ration distribution, and financial assistance under various programs have improved lives across the country. He also mentioned financial support schemes for SC/ST communities, including loans under the Stand-Up India initiative.
The Chief Minister also raised concerns over alleged scams in the state, including recruitment and welfare schemes, and called it the “right time” for voters to bring change through democratic means.

Speaking to the media, Yadav said he visited Bankura to support BJP candidates filing nominations and expressed satisfaction over the enthusiasm among party workers. He reiterated that the people of West Bengal are looking for change and are ready to support the BJP.
