In a major step toward making water conservation a people’s movement, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav will inaugurate the third phase of the state-level “Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign” from the ISKCON Temple in Indore.
The campaign, running from March 19 to June 30, 2026, will focus on active public participation in water conservation efforts.
The Madhya Pradesh government has been continuously working to address the state’s water crisis.
As part of these efforts, the third phase of the Jal Ganga Conservation Campaign kicks off today.
In the first two phases, over 350,000 water sources across the state were rejuvenated, resulting in improved groundwater levels and significant relief for farmers.

For the third phase, the government aims to:
Conserve even more water sources
Undertake new construction and restoration projects
Encourage wider public participation
This campaign reflects the state’s commitment to sustainable water management and community-driven conservation initiatives.
