On the occasion of completing four years of the Uttarakhand state government, a grand series of programs was organized in Tehri district. The aim of these events was to showcase the government’s achievements to the public and ensure that people directly benefit from welfare schemes. At the tehsil and block levels, organized by the district administration, a large number of people actively participated. The main program at the district headquarters was inaugurated by Tehri MLA Kishore Upadhyay.

Addressing the gathering, MLA Kishore Upadhyay said that under the guidance of the Prime Minister and the leadership of the Chief Minister, Uttarakhand has achieved new heights of development. He described the Uniform Civil Code as a historic step, setting a new benchmark for the state across the country.
He also highlighted that the anti-cheating laws implemented in government jobs have had a positive impact, ensuring fair employment opportunities for thousands of youth.

During the program, various departments set up stalls to provide villagers with information about government schemes. The Department of Information and Public Relations released the “Sankalp se Siddhi: Developed Uttarakhand” development booklet.
The Health Department organized medical camps, blood donation camps, and equipment distribution programs for persons with disabilities. Special health camps for women and girls were also conducted. The Social Welfare Department provided pension approvals, disability certificates, and assistive devices.

The Youth Welfare Department held a marathon competition, honoring the winners. The Child Development Department distributed Mahalakshmi kits, while the Agriculture Department facilitated farmer registration for the Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme and distributed agricultural equipment.
The event was attended by district administration officials, department representatives, elected leaders, and a large number of local residents.
