A major development has emerged from Jaipur regarding the alleged scam linked to the Jal Jeevan Mission. The Anti Corruption Bureau has initiated strict action and started the legal process to seize the properties of the accused officials who are currently absconding.

According to sources, legal action has intensified against four officers who are reportedly evading arrest. Senior IAS officer Dr. Subodh Agarwal is believed to be the first whose properties could be seized as part of the investigation.
Apart from him, properties belonging to former engineers Jitendra Sharma, Sanjeev Gupta, and Mukesh Goyal may also face similar action.

The ACB’s Special Investigation Team (SIT) is conducting searches across the country to trace and arrest the accused officials. Meanwhile, the court has already rejected the bail pleas filed by the four officers.
Following the rejection of their bail applications, the investigation agency has now approached the court seeking permission to confiscate their properties. If the court grants final approval, action to seize their assets could begin soon.
Officials say that this could become one of the biggest actions taken so far in connection with the Jal Jeevan Mission scam.
