A grand cultural program was organized at the Chief Minister’s residence in Bhopal on the auspicious occasion of the Indian New Year and Gudi Padwa, showcasing the rich traditions and cultural heritage of the Marathi community.

The event was held in the presence of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, where devotional renditions of Vitthal Abhangs filled the environment with a spiritual and festive atmosphere.

Members of the Marathi community celebrated the festival with traditional rituals and great enthusiasm, while chants of “Jai Bhavani, Jai Shivaji” echoed throughout the venue, adding to the celebratory spirit.

During the event, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav was honored in traditional Marathi style and was presented with a Peshwai turban as a mark of respect. The Marathi community also presented him with a ceremonial ‘Gudi’, a symbolic representation of prosperity, victory, and the beginning of a new year. A large number of community members participated in the program , making it a vibrant celebration that beautifully reflected Marathi culture, devotion, and unity.
