Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai met with representatives of various communities at the Chief Minister’s residence in Raipur, led by MLA Purandar Mishra. The delegation expressed their gratitude for the passage of three significant bills in the budget session:

Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board Bill 2026
Chhattisgarh (Prevention of Malpractices in Public & Professional Examinations) Bill 2026
Religious Freedom Bill 2026
Chief Minister Sai said that the Religious Freedom Bill 2026 will prove to be a blessing for the people of the state. The bill aims to curb illegal religious conversions and safeguard the traditions and values of the region.

He noted that previous laws were ineffective, allowing offenders to escape consequences. The new bill ensures strict action against illegal conversions and will help maintain social harmony.
CM Sai also paid tribute to the late Judev Ji, former Rajya Sabha MP and Union Minister, who had launched the “Homecoming” campaign against religious conversions.
Chhattisgarh Staff Selection Board Bill 2026

In response to the voice of thousands of young citizens, the Staff Selection Board Bill 2026 was passed to ensure a transparent and simplified recruitment process.
The bill aims to provide opportunities to candidates fairly and transparently, eliminating any procedural bias.
Prevention of Malpractices in Examinations Bill 2026
The Examinations Malpractice Prevention Bill 2026 seeks to curb cheating and unfair practices in public and professional exams.
This bill was also passed unanimously and will strengthen the integrity and credibility of the examination system in Chhattisgarh.

CM Sai Extends Greetings
On this occasion, CM Sai extended greetings for the Chaitra Navratri festival to the citizens of Chhattisgarh. MLA Purandar Mishra also addressed the gathering.
The event was attended by notable citizens, including Prabal Pratap Singh Judev, Akhilesh Soni, and Ramesh Thakur.
