The Pradhan Mantri Street Vendor’s AtmaNirbhar Nidhi (PM SVANidhi) Scheme has emerged as a major source of financial empowerment for street vendors and small business owners across Madhya Pradesh. By providing easy access to financial assistance, the scheme has helped lakhs of vendors expand their businesses, improve their incomes, and move towards self-reliance.
Madhya Pradesh is now among the leading states in the country in the effective implementation of the PM SVANidhi Scheme.

Over 1.03 Million Vendors Benefited
Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that more than 1.03 million (10.30 lakh) street vendors in Madhya Pradesh have benefited from the PM SVANidhi Scheme so far. Through collateral-free loans and financial assistance, small traders have been able to expand their businesses, increase their earnings, and strengthen their economic stability.
Empowering Small Entrepreneurs
The scheme aims to provide working capital to street vendors and roadside traders without imposing a heavy financial burden. It enables beneficiaries to restart or expand their businesses while creating sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Boost to Digital Payments

Apart from financial assistance, the PM SVANidhi Scheme also promotes digital transactions and financial inclusion, encouraging vendors to adopt modern payment systems and become part of the formal financial ecosystem.
Driving Inclusive Economic Growth
The state government believes that the successful implementation of the PM SVANidhi Scheme has brought a positive transformation in the lives of lakhs of small entrepreneurs across Madhya Pradesh. The government aims to ensure that every eligible street vendor benefits from the scheme, enabling them to strengthen their businesses, achieve financial independence, and contribute to the vision of an Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India).
