Uttarakhand is set to once again come alive with the colors of culture. From 26th to 30th March, the Garhwal region will host the grand ‘Vasantotsav 2026’, where folk traditions from across the country will be showcased on a single stage.

Organized in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the North Zone Cultural Centre, the festival will feature nearly 100 artists from seven states, who will present their art through folk songs and traditional dances, bringing India’s rich diversity to life.

The event will include vibrant performances such as Phag from Haryana, Bhangra from Punjab, Rouf from Kashmir, and Bhavai from Rajasthan, which are sure to mesmerize the audience. Garhwal’s Pandav dance will also be a highlight, reflecting the unique local culture.

Notably, about 250 artists from 13 districts of the state will participate, providing a major platform for talent from even the most remote areas.

Vasantotsav 2026 will not only be a celebration of culture but also strengthen the spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’, promoting unity in diversity across the nation.
