Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, the Chhattisgarh government has disbursed financial assistance to nearly 4,95,965 beneficiaries under the Deendayal Upadhyay Bhumihin Krishi Majdoor Kalyan Yojana.

An amount of ₹10,000 per beneficiary has been directly transferred into bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system, with the total disbursement reaching approximately ₹495.96 crore.

The Chief Minister stated that the scheme is specifically aimed at empowering landless agricultural labourer families by providing them with direct financial support. He emphasized that the use of DBT ensures transparency, efficiency, and timely delivery of benefits.

Among the beneficiaries, 18,647 Baiga-Guniya families and 22,028 other Baiga-Guniya families have also received assistance under the scheme. The initiative is expected to help these families meet their daily needs and improve their financial stability and security.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai reiterated that the state government remains committed to the welfare of rural and economically weaker sections, and such welfare programs will continue to be strengthened and expanded over time.
