Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav today paid solemn tribute to the great freedom fighter Mangal Pandey on his martyrdom day, remembering his unparalleled courage and sacrifice that challenged British rule and made history in India’s struggle for independence. Mangal Pandey, by igniting the flames of the 1857 revolt, awakened a sense of self-respect and patriotism among Indians. His sacrifice continues to serve as an inspiration, reminding every citizen of the importance of fearlessness and duty towards the nation.’
Speaking on the occasion, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav said, “Mangal Pandey’s life is a symbol of patriotism, dedication, and bravery. His sacrifices teach us that fulfilling our duties for the nation is the highest responsibility.”
He further emphasized that every citizen should draw inspiration from the ideals of freedom fighters and contribute actively to the development of society and the nation. “Mangal Pandey’s sacrifice reminds us that freedom is not just a right but also a responsibility,” the Chief Minister added.
On this sacred day, CM Dr. Yadav urged everyone to embrace the values of freedom fighters, fulfill their duties, and participate actively in nation-building. The courage and dedication of Mangal Pandey will forever remain a guiding light and source of inspiration for all Indians.
