Today marks a special occasion for the citizens of India as we remember the immortal creator of ‘Vande Mataram’, the great writer and visionary Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. His literary works not only enriched Indian literature but also became a guiding mantra for freedom fighters during India’s struggle for independence. Even after more than a century, the message of ‘Vande Mataram’ continues to inspire the nation in building a “Developed India.”

On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav paid humble tribute to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay, saying that his personality and contributions will always remain exemplary for the country and society. CM highlighted that the life and works of the great writer teach us the importance of literature and culture while inspiring every citizen to serve the nation and contribute to societal welfare.

The Chief Minister urged all citizens to take a pledge on this sacred day: to fulfill our duties and responsibilities while contributing to the development of the nation. He added that the true tribute to Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay will be to carry forward the immortal message of ‘Vande Mataram’ in our daily lives.
