A significant and positive development has emerged from Chhattisgarh, as Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his three-day visit to New Delhi. During this important meeting, the Chief Minister expressed gratitude on behalf of the state’s three crore citizens for the Central Government’s continued support in tackling the serious issue of Naxalism. He acknowledged the efforts being made at the national level to address security challenges in affected regions.

CM Sai also presented a comprehensive roadmap for the holistic development of Bastar. The plan focuses on key sectors such as security, infrastructure, education, and employment, aiming to bring long-term stability and growth to the region.
He expressed confidence that stronger coordination between the Central and State governments would not only help in delivering a decisive blow to Naxalism but also accelerate development in Bastar, transforming it into a region of opportunity and progress.

From a political perspective, the Chief Minister stated that the people of the country continue to place their trust in the NDA and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He also indicated that the BJP is in a strong position in several states, including Assam, and is likely to form governments in the upcoming elections.
On the issue of women’s empowerment, CM Sai welcomed the Centre’s initiative to convene a special session of Parliament for the Nari Shakti Vandan Act.
