National Panchayati Raj Day is being celebrated across the country with enthusiasm and pride today. On this occasion, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav extended his heartfelt greetings to the people of the state.

In his message, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that the concept of Gram Swaraj is the soul of India, and Panchayati Raj institutions are a powerful means to implement this vision at the grassroots level. He emphasized that the true strength of democracy lies in villages, and Panchayats are playing a crucial role in channeling that strength in the right direction.

He stated that Panchayati Raj institutions are strengthening local self-governance and ensuring that development reaches every village. These institutions are promoting public participation, enabling citizens to directly engage in the development process. At the same time, transparency and accountability are making governance more effective.

The Chief Minister also highlighted the increasing participation of women in Panchayats, calling it a positive sign of social transformation. He noted that women are now taking leadership roles, contributing significantly to building a more empowered society.

He further added that through digital empowerment, Panchayats are adopting modern technologies, ensuring that the benefits of government schemes reach people faster and with greater transparency.

The Chief Minister stressed that Panchayati Raj institutions play a vital role in building an Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India). He expressed confidence that strengthening villages will ultimately strengthen the nation, and Panchayats will continue to be a key driver in this journey.
