Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav inaugurated the Government Sandipani Thakur Lal Singh Higher Secondary School in Berasia, Bhopal. Built across nearly 35 acres at a cost of ₹50.74 crore, the institution marks more than the inauguration of a new school building—it represents the beginning of a new era in education, the Chief Minister said. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Yadav described Sandipani Schools as a new model of quality, inclusive, and modern education that will equip students with knowledge, values, confidence, and skills. He emphasized that the government’s vision is to nurture a self-reliant generation capable of leading India towards the goal of becoming a Developed Nation by 2047.

The Chief Minister said schools are not merely places for academic learning but are the foundation of character building, discipline, moral values, and personality development. Referring to India’s rich Guru-Shishya tradition, he remarked that while parents give life to a child, teachers and educational institutions shape that life with purpose and direction.

Dr. Mohan Yadav stressed that the purpose of education should extend beyond securing employment. Students, he said, should aspire to excel in diverse fields such as medicine, engineering, agriculture, entrepreneurship, journalism, public administration, and business, while becoming responsible citizens who contribute meaningfully to society and the nation. He encouraged students to pursue careers aligned with their interests and talents with dedication, honesty, and excellence.
Highlighting the government’s commitment to educational equity, the Chief Minister said that Sandipani Schools are a significant initiative aimed at bridging the gap in educational opportunities between economically weaker and privileged sections of society. Every child, regardless of background, should have access to quality education and equal opportunities, he added.

Dr. Yadav further stated that under the vision of Amrit Kaal 2047, the state is building an education system that prepares students to compete on a global platform. He expressed confidence that the children of Madhya Pradesh, through their knowledge, innovation, and hard work, would play a vital role in building a developed India and bring pride to the state.
During the programme, the Chief Minister felicitated students of Sandipani School who had excelled in the board examinations and congratulated them on their achievements.
Concluding his address, Dr. Mohan Yadav said that education is not just a means of acquiring knowledge but the strongest foundation for social equality, self-reliance, and nation-building. He reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to continuous reforms and innovation in the education sector, adding that Sandipani Schools would help establish Madhya Pradesh as a leader in educational excellence and prepare today’s students to become the architects of Developed India 2047.
