भारतीय सब्जी अनुसंधान संस्थान ने 23 साल की मेहनत के बाद आखिरकार भिंडी की नई प्रजाति ‘काशी लालिमा’ विकसित करने में सफलता पा ली है। लाल रंग की यह भिंडी एंटी ऑक्सीडेंट, आयरन और कैल्शियम सहित अन्य पोषक तत्वों से भरपूर है।
